The first Sino-German Symposium was held in February 2018, with the theme of "Cell Fate and Tumorigenesis: from Animal Models to Human Diseases" Attending the Symposium were 36 leading experts, researchers, and scholars from Universität des Saarlandes, Ruhr University Bochum, Universität Dusseldorf, Kiel University, Universität Ulm, Universität Leipzig, Ruprecht-Karls-Universität Heidelberg, Université de Montpellier (France), the Shanghai Institute of Life Sciences, the Chinese Academy of Sciences, Peking University, Southeast University, Nanjing University, and China Pharmaceutical University. They conducted in-depth academic exchanges on the molecular mechanism of cell differentiation, tumorigenesis, tumor diseases, and new methods for studying cell fate.
